Hello...I just wanted to email you both and let you know that I am settling in my new place and things are going well. I wanted to thank you so very much for your help in selling my home. I know that in these times of the market being the way it is, both of you put in alot of effort and time. Thank you so much for the extra things that you did that were not really part of what you do but you did anyway to help me. Thank you Ted for helping me get my house ready to sell, for securing my doggies before the showings and for taking the time to be there when the air conditioning co came to service the air conditioner. You put up with my phone calls and my emails and were always so gracious and helpful. It is my pleasure to comment on and recommend the professional services of Ted & Julie Hummel. When endeavoring to sell our home in arguably one of the most difficult real estate markets in decades, in what was/is recognized as the worst real estate market in the country, Fort Myers, which was further complicated by a very difficult valuation having knowing overbuilt in both size and specification for our neighborhood, my wife Diane and I conducted an exhaustive search for just the right agents. We were fortunate to have met Ted and Julie who frankly were extraordinary.

Notwithstanding the fact that they are wonderful people and a pleasure to work with, Ted and Julie worked tirelessly on our behalf, were always available, highly responsive, very hearing, patient and exhibited the utmost professionalism in all their dealings. Our home was the highest listing price ever in our neighborhood and they sold it for the highest price ever paid while other homes sat on the market. Throughout the process they gave much of themselves and provided personalized service.

The buyer’s agent in our transaction was an order taker, contributed little and went away on vacation in the midst the deal and Ted and Julie picked up her end as well doing all the heavy lifting and what the other realtor should have and did not.

We just wanted to thank both of you for all of your hard work. When the first contract came to us, we appreciated your honesty and candor placing our interests first by recognizing that it would take several negotiations to bring the contract to terms that we felt comfortable with. In the end you brought us a much better buyer and a contract with favorable terms. I don't know how we closed on schedule with some of the hurdles we had to overcome, but we did and in the end it sold for about what you thought it would when we originally met 6 or 7 months prior. Team Hummel was wonderful to work with, we are grateful that our home sold under 6 months, especially with today's challenging market. We resided out of town most of the time our home was being listed and they made sure to keep a "watchful eye" on all aspects concerning our home. Ted & Julie communicated their recommendations on marketability to us very effectively and they took personal attention to functionality and "upgrades" our home offered.
